Over 85% of exhibition space and 1,500 exhibitors confirmed for June’s Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition
The 26th edition of Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) will be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex from 9 – 12 June 2021. As a leading event in the Asian industry over these years, GILE is home to cutting-edge technological innovations, products and system designs. And this edition, with the Chinese Government’s recently formed ‘dual circulation’ and ‘new infrastructure’ development plans firmly in mind, the show will promote the latest lighting technologies and concepts, the integration of lighting and the internet, as well as collaboration between various industries.
The Future is Now: Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition aims to advance together with the lighting industry in 2021
The 25th edition of Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) concluded successfully last October, welcoming a total of 2,028 exhibitors together with 141,868 visitors. Continuing its status as the preeminent lighting exhibition in China, the 26th edition will be held from 9 – 12 June 2021 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, with the theme ‘The Future is Now’. The fair will continue with both online and in-person formats to ensure lighting industry peers from throughout the world can gather to project future developments and business opportunities, and to encourage each other to keep advancing in the recovery of the global lighting industry.
Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition 2020 closes, celebrating 25 year anniversary milestone
Concluding on 13 October, Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition reached a milestone of 25 years as a leading industry platform. From 96 exhibitors at its debut in 1996, to a total of 2,028 at this year’s edition, the growth and achievements of the past quarter of a century are to be celebrated. Once again, the fair was held concurrently with Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) and together, the two fairs attracted over 140,000 visitors to the heart of China’s manufacturing hub. As industry professionals gathered to showcase the latest lighting products and solutions, the show provided a platform to assist businesses to rebound, reconnect and regain momentum.
Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition opens its doors this week to mark 25 years as a trusted industry platform
The four-day Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), one of the most influential lighting and LED events in Asia, will open its doors on 10 October, marking the show’s 25th anniversary. This year, the fair introduces the theme ‘Connect and Rebound Together!’ to encourage the industry to regather and revive in the midst of the pandemic recovery. GILE 2020 welcomes 2,028 exhibitors from eight countries and regions spanning 18 halls and 190,000 sqm. With more than 100 concurrent seminars and forums, the show also provides a platform for the industry to communicate, cooperate and create valuable business opportunities.
New dates of 10 – 13 October for Messe Frankfurt’s Guangzhou Light + Building fairs
Due to a more favourable date becoming available at the fairs’ venue, the organiser of Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) and Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT) has announced the two shows will now take place from 10 – 13 October. An expected 2,000-plus exhibitors will take part in the two fairs spanning 19 halls at the China Import and Export Fair Complex.
